This Pineapple Green Cheeked Conure for sale or Green Cheeked Parakeet (Pyrrhura molinae) is a small parrot of the genus Pyrrhura, which is part of a long-tailed group of the New World parrot subfamily Arinae. This type of parrot is generally called a conure in aviculture. The Green-cheeked conure is a favorite among bird novices because of its small stature, temperament, and relatively low noise level, at least compared to its larger cousins. The green-cheeked conure is a little clown, always full of antics. These birds love to hang upside-down and clamor along the cage bars, waiting for their owners to play with them. Green cheeks are mischief-makers, so keep an eye on your bird at all times. Conures are mono-morphic which means that it is very hard to visually determine their sex.

Diet: 50% of a Conure’s diet should be washed veggies. Also, Lovebird/Conure Seed, Dried Egg Food, Cuttlefish Bone, Australian Blend Goldenfeast, Fruit Pellets, Nuts, and Washed Fresh Fruit.
Veggies: Spinach, Green Beans, Kale, Celery, Peas, Carrots, and Grape Vine Leaves.
Fruits: Apples, Kiwi, Blueberries, Strawberries, Grapes, Bananas, Figs, Mangos, Oranges seem to be the favorite fruits of Pineapple Green Cheek Conures.
